Asa is a 20 year old student at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He worked for the Ron Paul 2012 Campaign ahead of the Iowa caucuses, organizing potential voters across the state. In April 2012, Asa presented his academic paper in political economy “Harmony or Central Planning” to the 2012 Economic Scholars Program hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. He has studied Austrian economics and libertarian political theory at the annual Mises University hosted by the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Asa has been a recipient of the Arkansas Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship for three years, and has made both the University of Arkansas’s Chancellor’s List and the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s List multiple times.
